Scholarships offered through the Clarinda Foundation vary on amounts and eligibility criteria. For details on a specific scholarship please click on the link and read the description carefully.  The Clarinda Foundation has the right to verify all information given in any scholarship application.  The Clarinda Foundation has awarded over $297,000 in scholarships.

Baker Scholarship description

Awarded to a Clarinda High School graduating senior (or seniors) planning to pursue a degree in higher education at an accredited college or university.

Borden Scholarship description

Borden Scholarship description – Bedford

Four year renewable scholarship awarded to two graduating high school seniors who reside in the boundaries of the former New Market School District.

Brockman nursing Scholarship description

Awarded to a Clarinda High School or South Page High School graduating senior planning to pursue a degree in higher education with the intent to become a registered nurse.

CHS Class of 1954 Scholarship description

Awarded to a Clarinda High School graduating senior or post-graduate who is pursuing a degree in higher education

CHS Alumni Scholarship description

Awarded to a Clarinda High School graduating senior or post-graduate who is pursuing a degree in higher education.

Class of 1965 Scholarship description

The Class of 1965 Scholarship will award a scholarship to a Clarinda High School graduating senior who is pursuing a degree in higher education planning to attend Iowa Western Community College Clarinda Campus

Hutchinson vocational Scholarship description

Awarded to a Clarinda High school graduating senior planning to continue his or her education toward a vocational career.

Hugh Loudon ag-business Scholarship description

Awarded to a Clarinda High school graduating senior planning to pursue a vocation in agriculture or business.

Maxine Loudon Scholarship description

Awarded to a Clarinda High school graduating senior planning to obtain a degree in secondary education with an emphasis in the humanities.

McKinley Scholarship description

Awarded to a Graduate of the Clarinda High School or South Page High School, who is entering his/her junior or senior year in an accredited college or university and pursuing a major in primary or secondary education, with special consideration based on need, scholarly achievement, character and reputation.

Patsy Martin Scholarship description

Awarded to a Clarinda High School graduating senior who is pursuing a degree in English, particularly teaching or writing.

Norm Mier Memorial Scholarship description

Awarded to a Clarinda High School graduating senior who is pursuing a degree in higher education.

Swisher Family Vocational Scholarship description

Awarded to a Clarinda High School graduating senior planning to continue his or her education toward a vocational career.

 CHS Alumni Scholarship description

Awarded to any or all CHS alumni  who plan to enroll in a trade/vocational school, community college or university.

Clarinda Foundation (Engineering – Agriculture) Scholarship Description

Awarded to a CHS graduating senior that plans to enroll in an accredited trade/vocational school, community college or university in the field of engineering or agriculture.

Evelyn Herzberg Educational Scholarship Description

Awarded to a CHS graduating senior that plans to enroll in an accredited trade/vocational school, community college or university.

George McNees Memorial Scholarship Description

Awarded to a graduating senior of Clarinda Community High School that shall be eligible for enrollment in an accredited college or university and major in agriculture or business.

Glenn Miller VFW Scholarship description

Awarded to a Clarinda High School or South Page High School graduating seniors who are descendants of a veteran of a foreign war and who are pursuing a degree in higher education.

Veterans Fund Scholarship Description

Awarded to a Clarinda or South Page graduating senior that plans to enroll at an accredited technical/vocational school or college and is a descendent (sibling, child, grandchild or great-grandchild) of a U.S. veteran.
