Scholarships offered through the Clarinda Foundation vary on amounts and eligibility criteria. For details on a specific scholarship please click on the link and read the description carefully.  The Clarinda Foundation has the right to verify all information given in any scholarship application.  The Clarinda Foundation has awarded over $297,000 in scholarships.

Vernon J. Baker Educators’ Scholarship

Awarded to a Clarinda High School graduating senior (or seniors) planning to pursue a degree in higher education at an accredited college or university.

Ralph & Gladys Borden Memorial Scholarship

Four year renewable scholarship awarded to two graduating high school seniors who reside in the boundaries of the former New Market School District.

Ethel Brockman Nursing Scholarship

Awarded to a Clarinda High School or South Page High School graduating senior planning to pursue a degree in higher education with the intent to become a registered nurse.

CHS Class of 1954 Scholarship

Awarded to a Clarinda High School graduating senior or post-graduate who is pursuing a degree in higher education.

CHS Class of 1965 Scholarship

The Class of 1965 Scholarship will award a scholarship to a Clarinda High School graduating senior who is pursuing a degree in higher education planning to attend Iowa Western Community College Clarinda Campus

Darrell and Mary Hutchinson Vocational Scholarship

Awarded to a Clarinda High school graduating senior planning to continue his or her education toward a vocational career.

Hugh Loudon Agricultural/Business Scholarship

Awarded to a Clarinda High school graduating senior planning to pursue a vocation in agriculture or business.

Maxine S. Loudon Scholarship

Awarded to a Clarinda High school graduating senior planning to obtain a degree in secondary education with an emphasis in the humanities.

The Harold & Dale McKinley Education Scholarship

Awarded to a Graduate of the Clarinda High School or South Page High School, who is entering his/her junior or senior year in an accredited college or university and pursuing a major in primary or secondary education, with special consideration based on need, scholarly achievement, character and reputation.

Patsy Martin Scholarship

Awarded to a Clarinda High School graduating senior who is pursuing a degree in English, particularly teaching or writing.

Norm Mier Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to a Clarinda High School graduating senior who is pursuing a degree in higher education.

Bill O’Riley Business Scholarship

Awarded to two Clarinda High School graduating seniors (one male, one female) planning to pursue a degree in business at Northwest Missouri State University.

Robert & Irene Renshaw Educational Scholarship

Awarded to a Clarinda High School graduating senior who plans to continue his or her education at a four-year college majoring in education.

Robert & Irene Renshaw Vocational Scholarship

Awarded to a Clarinda High school graduating senior who plans to pursue a vocational certificate at a qualified vocational school.

Dorothy J. and Harry Salomon Scholarship

Awarded to a Clarinda High School graduating senior or a post-graduate who is pursuing a degree in higher education at an accredited college or university.

Swisher Family Vocational Scholarship

Awarded to a Clarinda High School graduating senior planning to continue his or her education toward a vocational career.
